Day 5 in Lhasa city, I went to Drepung Monastery (literally “Rice Heap” monastery), located at the foot of Mount Gephel, is one of the "great three" Gelukpa university monasteries of Tibet. The other two are Ganden and Sera. Drepung is the largest of all Tibetan monasteries and is located on the Gambo Utse mountain, five kilometers from the western suburb of Lhasa.
Remember to walk slowly as possible. Otherwise you will get high attitude sickness easily.
Tibetan will draw stairs on the rock, which means they will go to heaven easily while they are dead.
My first hiking in Lhasa. I see a wild yak. OMG.
Tibet is a place very limited resources. It is not guarantee to have a great meal everyday. (My survival meal)
Sitting on the public transport with locals and back to Lhasa city. It 's an interesting experience for me.
Tibetan mineral water. Is it come from Mountain Everest?
Back to Lhasa city, I find another decent restaurant which provide transitional Tibetan food. You will have Tibetan live music show during night time.
Thanks god to have my delicious and nice meal.
I changed the previous youth hostel which is much cheaper and experienced the real backpacker style. Thumb up!
